WOODVILLE RESERVE

Public BBQ

Tucked away in North Perth, Woodville Reserve proves that sometimes the best barbecue spots are hiding in plain sight. The reserve strikes that perfect balance between family-friendly chaos and actual relaxation – no small feat in the inner suburbs. The barbecue facilities are well-maintained and positioned strategically near the playground, so you can flip sausages while keeping one eye on the kids hurtling down slides. The pavilion adds a touch of old-school charm to proceedings, and there's enough open space to actually breathe between the suburban squeeze. It's not going to win any tourism awards, but for a quick family barbie without the trek to the coast, Woodville delivers exactly what you need. The toilets are clean, parking isn't a nightmare, and the playground equipment looks like it was built this century – honestly, what more can you ask for in North Perth?
